Who we are
Founded in 2019, MPC began when two University of Michigan students recognized a gap on campus: there were no consulting organizations centered on social and political impact. They set out to build a student-run firm that combined management consulting with a mission-driven focus on public service. What started through personal connections quickly grew into sustained partnerships, with political campaigns and nonprofit organizations actively seeking MPC’s services. MPC has grown into a multidisciplinary community of consultants trained in political analysis, communications, and data-driven problem-solving.
Today, we continue to expand our impact not only by preparing students to lead in politics, public policy, and civic life, but also by supporting students at other universities as they work to found and scale their own political consulting organizations—while maintaining a collaborative, social culture rooted in mentorship and shared purpose.
